ACCREDITED INVESTORS ONLY

What is an accredited investor? An individual accredited investor is generally someone who has a net worth of $1,000,000 or more, OR makes $200,000 or more per year in the immediate preceding two years. Entities, such as institutions, partnerships, or pension plans, have different standards for accreditation.

If you fit into this category you may be eligible for many investment opportunities such as private placements or Regulation D offerings, hedge funds, commodity funds and/or special investments that other investors are not allowed to participate in.

As part of an asset diversification program these types of investments can shift some of your investment risk away from the daily fluctuations of the financial markets. However, it is important to remember that all investments contain risk and that the understanding of these risks is extremely important to your financial well being. When considering alternative investments, including hedge funds, you should consider various risks including the fact that some products: often engage in leveraging and other speculative investment practices that may increase the risk of investment loss, can be illiquid, are not required to provide periodic pricing or valuation information to investors, may involve complex tax structures and delays in distributing important tax information, are not subject to the same regulatory requirements as mutual funds, often charge high fees, and in many cases the underlying investments are not transparent and are known only to the investment manager. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
